Author Bio King Kevin Dorival
A game-changing mentor, author, relationship coach, and writer
King Kevin Dorival outshines the rest. He has an interesting story to tell about his life from escaping the streets and to have successfully worked his way into corporate America. Today, he’s a top marketing director for a multi-million dollar construction firm and for his own company, Sky View Creative Circle, LLC. In realizing his passion to push others forward, eventually he began writing a memoir that transformed into a powerful inspirational autobiography, stage play, and now a documentary, “The Courage To Believe: Never Give Up.” All of these are available on his website: www.KevinDorival.com. His highly anticipated and somewhat controversial new relationship goals/self-help book, 7 Types of Queens, Kings Desire, has lived up to the hype. In 2017 he was part of the Kings & Queens Book Tour in London. Life as an author hasn’t been the same since. He’s been getting booked to speak at conferences, workshops, and book clubs all over the United States.
In 2005, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in marketing from Florida Atlantic University. He is a member of the Martin Luther King Celebration Committee of Fort Lauderdale, The Haitian American Leadership Organization, and he spent two years as a Sunday School teacher at his home church, Redeeming Word Christian Center Church. He’s now a born again African Spiritualist with an open mind. Mr. Dorival has been on a few television shows such as Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), and has been interviewed on many radio stations and for newspapers: BBC London, Hot 105, 99 Jamz WEDR, Kreyolicious Magazine, Florida Courier, Pelican Post, African History Network, Westside Gazette, Miami Times, Creole Times, Boca Raton Tribune, South Florida Times. In 2013 he was also on the cover of the Sun-Sentinel, which is Florida’s largest newspaper in circulation, for the stage play Courage To Believe International, which he wrote and produced with a hard-working cast of elementary kids, teens, and adults. The 2013 article was entitled, “After 20 Years, Teacher Gets A Thank You To Remember.” Mr. Dorival, miraculously, found his teacher to invite her to his book signing and stage play and then surprised her with a dozen roses on the stage.
Despite mountainous opposition, Mr. Dorival kept his faith in God, knowing that there will always be opposition to purpose, and he kept moving forward. Encouraging teens and young adults on how to pursue their dreams puts a fire in his spirit that cannot be explained in words. This passion motivated King Kevin to start a non-profit organization, Courage To Believe International, to mentor at-risk youth, with other mentors, to teach them how to make successful life-defining decisions rather than tragic ones through a series of life-skills and Ancient African History workshops, and academic exercises; the organization hosts the annual Black On Black Crime Solutions Panel and C2B Chess Club. He’s a perfect motivator for students going back to school. There is no limit for this conscious brother and, without a doubt, bonafide leader.
